90% of Carbocia’s range of limestone products are extracted from the Carrières de la Vallée Heureuse’s quarries. A family-run business founded over 160 years ago, the firm works a 200-hectare limestone deposit in the bassin de Marquise located between Boulogne-sur-Mer and Calais. Carbocia’s long-standing partner, the Carrières de la Vallée Heureuse is a major player in the production of aggregates of every shape and size. They are capable of extracting up to 20,000 tonnes a day.
